Notebooks

I’ve been collecting books for a while. I’ll come up with one concept and fill entire notebooks with one idea over and over. I have character only: geometric, cellular patterns, ect. I never share these with anyone, they’re only for myself.

One of the things that brought me to NYC initially was electric objects. I did a collection with them and a residency in their office while working on the series. It’s great to have a company that is dedicated and passionate about the progression of digital art.

Chica

She’s a 5 year old chihuahua. I recently moved her to NYC from Austin, TX. It’s amazing how much she has changed my life in such a short amount of time. I get so focused on work and she gets me out of the house. I spend almost 100% of my time in the studio working and she sleeps in my lap for most of it.

Art collection

I’ve been collecting art for the past year and started with buying work from my friends. I know so many talented artists. I plan on collecting forever. I want to set aside some money every year just to fund commissioned art. My favorite piece is this painting by Matthais Brown (Traceloops).

Laptop

This is where it all started for me. I saved up for ages but this was the first computer I bought with my own money. This is the computer that sparked my excitement with animation. I’ve since moved on to better computers but this one feels like the old guitar you learn how to play on. It’s been collecting dust in my closet but I plan on mounting it on a wall someday.
