Will: Wooden Box
I made this box my Junior year of Architecture school where we spent a semester working in a high-end furniture shop. The shop had a huge supply of scrap wood laying around, which usually ends up being thrown out, so when our final assignment was to build a box, I used what I could find. It’s made of 6 different kinds of wood and took weeks to make.
will: Filson Bag
Ky gave me this bag last year for Christmas; I think because she couldn’t take my old nylon bag anymore but I’m glad she did. It’s a well-made timeless design that I should have for years to come.
KY: Circle 21 Candles
About 5 years ago, my mom started making candles as a hobby. Everyone loved them and that hobby quickly grew into a real business that allowed her to quit her 9-5 accounting job and pursue something she really enjoyed. One of our first projects as a studio, was doing the branding, packaging and the website for Circle 21 Candles. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch it grow and expand. I’ve always been sensitive to certain scents and these are specifically formulated not be not too strong. Tuscan Sun is my current fav and we have one burning almost all the time!
Will: Braithwaite Oil Paintings
Doug Braithwaite is a Utah-bases landscape oil painter. I was fortunate to take one of his Plein Air workshops when I was 18 and have always admired his style of painting. These are of the valley in Utah where I grew up.

Will: Triangular holder thing
We aren’t big on nicknacks and tend to gravitate towards simple, minimal accessories. This Yield Design Co piece holds an old polaroid of my dad, my grandpa, and I (Will) back when I was fish-sized.
Will: Kaweco Pencil
I spend a lot of time sketching and have tried a lot of different mechanical pencils over the years. This Kaweco pencil has been my favorite. It’s weighted just right and doesn’t rattle.
KY: Industry Standard Jeans
My everyday uniform is jeans and a t-shirt or button-down, so naturally when we started working with denim-extraordinaire, Nicole Najafi, on Industry Standard, I had to have one of each of their styles. The fit is impeccable and I find these last so much longer than other more expensive jeans I used to wear. I love that they’re made in the US and come in cutest little button-tied package. What more could you ask for?
KY: Helen Ficalora Necklace
Senior year in college, my 12 closest girlfriends and I decided that for each of our birthdays we’d all pitch in to get the birthday gal a gold initial charm necklace instead of each buying separate little gifts. I ate a lot of canned food that year but I’m glad we did it! I still wear mine all the time and especially love it layered with other delicate necklaces. It’s a fun reminder of good times and sweet friends.
A beautiful orchid is my favorite home accessory. Over the past few years I’ve started collecting them and have slowly been learning to care for the different varieties, transplant them and prune the roots. Someday I’d love to have a greenhouse full of them!
Ky & Will: Beagle
This pup keeps us laughing (and cursing!) on a daily basis. She has the biggest personality and is very dramatic. She does this thing where she fans out her ears and makes her eyes all big and puppy like– when she does that, you just give her whatever she wants! Everyone always asks if she’s a puppy but she’s actually 6 years old! <3
